UPDATE 03/22/2012: I found the source psd and resized the background for the full 1920x1080 HD experience.
Marvin the Paranoid Android desktop wallpaper, from the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (movie version) by Douglas Adams.
I found a high-rez photo of the actual Marvin suit from the movie on flickr, courtesy of keinepanik.
Needless to say, I needed it as my desktop background. And now you can have it too.
